Quarantine has been difficult for all of us. While some of us have laid on the couch for 5 months, others created new habits, lifestyle changes, and fitness routines. All of those activities are 100% acceptable and ok during such an uncertain time. My goal at the beginning of quarantine was to create and learn something new, so I decided to take what I learned creating this blog and in my day-to-day job as a marketer and create a plant inspired apparel business, using my graphic design hobby and knowledge of website creation and social media!
Introducing: LilacCactus.com
I could never find simple graphic tees that weren’t covered in too many colors, or huge quotes, so I took some of the designs I’ve been creating for fun and placed them on t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats. I’ve had a lot of fun conceptualizing the brand and creating the designs, so I hope you all do too! The ~natural~ theme of this blog goes along with the brand I want to build on Lilac Cactus. Right now because it is a small business, I’m limited to the products available on certain distribution sites, but my plan in the future is to only make apparel with sustainable and ethically sourced fabrics. I’m so excited to take the leap and start this journey and I hope you’ll follow along with me!
